An Eve of Experimental Music

18:00 –
Make-Believe Studio

Join us for an eve of experimental music featuring sound artists Julian Zyklus, Ossagrosse, and Alex Scobie.

Julian Zyklus will presents a live practice focused on sound research at the intersection of acoustic piano, modular synthesis, and real-time sound design.

The performance represents the current stage of an ongoing practice-based research developed through a series of live works over recent years. It is structured around real-time improvisation using iterative looping systems, algorithmic and modular synthesizer sequences, and an augmented piano setup integrating acoustic performance with digital and analog signal processing.

Ossagrosse presents Light Tapes, a live audiovisual practice built around magnetic tape, radio signals, and generative digital systems, articulated through improvisation and real-time interaction.

Alex Scobie presents a live musique concrète performance built from field recordings, looping samples, and live instrumentation, exploring memory, repetition, and identity through sound-based storytelling.
