AUTOMARTIN3D presents ‘Apocalypse Wow!’

19:00 –
Backhaus Projects

AUTOMARTIN3D presents Apocalypse Wow!, an audiovisual live-AR performance that includes the use of active-3D electronic glasses by the audience with the purpose of enriching their synesthetic experience through a real-time manipulation of the depth of their visuals.

The world suffered an ecological apocalypse. Water covered almost the entire planet. Everything we were, or wanted to be, lies at the bottom of the sea. Two shamanic explorers arrive from the future to investigate and retrace humanity's steps. Through anthropological and musical techniques, they uncover different scenes, which, like a puzzle, piece together the story of what happened and why we reached this point.

AUTOMARTIN3D is an immersive audiovisual conceptual duo, founded by Martin Hugo and Sonsoles Romero, that creates music and images in real time as a moving work of art that is performed live. Their eclectic style and the conceptual approach have allowed them to perform in the Museum of Modern Art, Teatro Colón, Adidas’ Deerupt launch and 48Stunden Neukölln Festival.
